South Florida native, Jen Appel graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Communication and Culture and Barry University with a Masters in Corporate Communications and Public Relations. With over 7 years of professional experience in the Public Relations industry working for some of the top hotels, restaurants, non-profits and automotive companies in South Florida, Appel branched out and opened The Catalyst Publicity Group to assist emerging and established artists and brands in the music industry. Some notable campaigns include: Dave Elkins (Mae/Schematic), Stages & Stereos, King The Kid, HeartSupport (Jake Luhrs, August Burns Red non-profit), and Smooth Sailing Clothing Co (Steven Kopacz, ex-Go Radio Drummer).
